Welcome to TadBir. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our mobile application, TadBir (the "App"). Please read this privacy policy carefully. If you do not agree with the terms of this privacy policy, please do not access the application.
2. Information We Collect
We collect information to provide and improve our service to you. The types of information we may collect are:
A. Information You Provide to Us
- Financial Data: When you use the App, you provide financial information such as:
- Income and expense transactions
- Budget allocations and fixed expense categories (Housing, Transport, Food, Bills, Savings)
- Debts and loans (both debts you owe and debts owed to you)
- Financial tasks and reminders
- Savings goals and progress tracking
This information is stored locally on your device and we do not have access to it.
- Account Information: To create an account, we use Google Sign-In. Through this service, we collect your name, email address, and profile picture as provided by Google to identify you and secure your account.
- User Preferences: We store your preferences including language selection, font size, currency, dark mode settings, and notification preferences.
B. Information Collected Automatically
- Device Information for Notifications: If you enable push notifications, we collect a Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) token for your device. This token is anonymous and is used solely to send you task reminders and other app-related notifications.
- Cloud Backup Data: If you choose to use the optional cloud backup feature, your financial data is encrypted and stored in Firebase Cloud Storage. You maintain full control over when to create, update, or delete these backups.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect in the following ways:
- To provide the core functionality of the App, such as tracking your budget, debts, and tasks.
- To create and manage your account.
- To send you push notifications, if you have opted-in.
- To offer a cloud backup and restore feature, which you can use optionally. Your data is only transferred to the cloud when you explicitly initiate a backup.
4. Data Storage and Security
- Local Storage: All your personal financial data (transactions, debts, etc.) is stored exclusively on your local device. We cannot see or access this data.
- Cloud Backup: The App offers an optional feature to back up your data using Firebase Cloud Storage. This process is user-initiated. Your data is encrypted during transfer. You are in control of creating and deleting your backups.
- Security: We use administrative, technical, and physical security measures to help protect your personal information. While we have taken reasonable steps to secure the personal information you provide to us, please be aware that no security measures are perfect or impenetrable.
5. Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services in our App:
- Google Sign-In & Firebase: We use services from Google LLC, such as Firebase Authentication for user login, Firebase Cloud Storage for optional backups, and Firebase Cloud Messaging for push notifications. Your use of these features is subject to Google's Privacy Policy, which you can review here: https://policies.google.com/privacy.
We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer your personally identifiable information to outside parties.
6. Your Rights and Choices
- Access and Update: You can view and update your financial data at any time within the App.
- Data Deletion: Uninstalling the App will delete all financial data stored locally on your device. If you have used the cloud backup feature, you can delete your account and associated cloud data from within the App's settings.
- Push Notifications: You can opt-out of receiving push notifications by disabling them in your device's settings for the App.
7. Children's Privacy
Our service does not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13.
8. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page. You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes.
